BeautyOS is a product of Avid Lab Technology ("we", "us", "our"), a business management platform for service businesses in British Columbia, Canada. Our website is beautyos.online.

2. Information we collect

Account information: name, email address, and phone number when you sign up or submit a lead form.
Business information: business name, type, and operational details you provide during onboarding.
Usage data: pages visited, features used, and actions taken within the platform (via Umami Analytics — privacy-friendly, no cookies).
Communications: messages sent through our AI receptionist or chat widget, call recordings (where enabled), and support correspondence.
Payment information: processed securely by Stripe; we do not store card numbers.

3. How we use your information

To provide and improve the BeautyOS platform.
To send appointment reminders, confirmations, and service notifications on behalf of businesses using BeautyOS.
To contact you about your account, billing, or support requests.
To send marketing communications (you may opt out at any time).
To comply with legal obligations.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

Service providers: Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS/calls), Resend (email), Clerk (authentication), Neon (database) — each bound by their own privacy policies.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Some data may be retained for legal or accounting purposes.

Our public website uses Umami Analytics, which is cookieless and does not track you across sites. The dashboard application uses session cookies required for authentication (via Clerk).

We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted databases at rest, and role-based access controls. No method of transmission is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
